Smooth outer shell, allows up to 10º of torsion
The smooth outer shell eliminates the need for flanged joints. This housing design ensures perfect torque transmission from one end to the other, while allowing the inner sleeve units at each end to articulate independently at angles of up to 5 degrees.
In addition, the inner sleeves can slide axially within their range to accommodate expansion, contraction, and thermal vibrations.
Customizable and ready to install
The TCAE-C Series features a pilot hole inner sleeve, offering the flexibility to customize hole diameters, keyway sizes, and other installation specifications.
The TCAE-CT series comes with a pre-machined Taperlock™ hole, simplifying the installation process with standard Taperlock™ bushings for quick and secure shaft connections.
Optimized for high-speed applications
The minimal rotating moment of inertia of the smooth outer shell makes these couplings ideal for high-speed applications such as servo drives.
